Armature

Armatures are small skeletons that are inside each character in order for the natural joints to have movement, in order to cause more natural movement. This is a great technique as it allows you to move the models easily and ensure the most natural look.

 

 

 

Sculpting Sculpting is a technique used to make great detail when using Claymation.

 

 

3D Printing 3d printing is a technology that uses computer software in order to print a 3d model.  In the film Coraline they used 3d printing to produce 20,000 different faces for Coraline in order to have a natural face when making expressions.
